Great western music, great Mexican food – great way to spend the evening
Fred is a Native Kansan, and now lives near Monte Vista, Colorado. Through countless hours in the saddle, raising cattle and horses, and managing the land, Fred has gained the knowledge needed to write and sing his original Cowboy Songs. He has been performing on stage since 1992. He has been a member of the Western Music Association, since 1996, and has performed throughout the United States.
He now has four CD's available. His album, "My Sacred Ground" released in 2010, has been on four Top 20 Western Music Charts, across the U.S., and in England. The same album was nominated for 2010 'Best Traditional Western Album of the Year', by the Western Music Association. In 2011, a song from that album, "Code of the West", was nominated for 'Song of the Year' by the WMA! Fred is back with album number five. It's titled, "Watching Eagles Fly", and the title song is about the plight of Ranchers and Farmers, in the San Luis Valley, of South Central Colorado, home of the RGSR. Fred believes this album should prove to be his best yet.
